St. Louis Summer Plant Combos!

Remember last January when we thought spring would NEVER come, let alone summer? Well, hard to believe Labor Day Weekend-the unofficial end of Summer, is fast approaching, and if you’re like me, you wonder where the summer went.


So, as we say goodbye to another St. Louis Summer, we look at some of the best seasonal plant combos around town. Thanks to all the Garden-Lou subscribers that sent in photos of their displays! Together, we made St. Louis, and the world, a little more beautiful.

This inviting entrance leads to the home of Chris Slinkard and John Lewis in Spanish Lake.

The Boat House Entrance has plantings mixed with cardoons and globe amaranth.
