Highlights from the Old North St. Louis Neighborhood House & Garden Tour, and Arts Festival

The historic Old North Neighborhood of St. Louis lies just minutes north of Downtown and the Gateway Arch. Most locals only know it for Crown Candy Kitchen, the landmark soda fountain and lunch spot. But the area surrounding Crown Candy is experiencing a wonderful renaissance with rehabs, renovations, and new construction. Not unlike the Central West End and Lafayette Square neighborhoods that rose from the ashes, The Old North Neighborhood’s transformation results from the tireless, grassroots initiative of its residents and close partners that have a vision for the future.

The House and Garden Tour and Arts Festival showcases the reviving neighborhood and most importantly, the people that are making a difference.
