A Holiday Journey to Cheekwood Estate -

In 1932, the Cheek family moved into their recently constructed estate just in time for the holidays. Now, the estate and gardens are a year-round destination, but even more so during the holidays. The gardens surrounding the home are decorated for the nightly “Holiday LIGHTS,” but inside the stately home, it’s a holiday floral extravaganza as Laura Dowling returns to work her floral magic. Laura is the former White House Chief Floral Designer, and this is the second year she has designed the holiday displays for Cheekwood. (Last year’s design can be seen on YouTube!)

The 2025 display runs through January 4th, 2026 if you are seeking a holiday travel destination that’s under five hours from St. Louis. Admission to the estate is included with regular garden admission.
