Garden-Lou Spotlights Art in Bloom 2025

Art in Bloom, the St. Louis Art Museum’s largest event of the year takes place February 28th-March 2nd. Thirty-eight works of art from SLAM’s collection were chosen for interpretation by floral designers across the metro area. Designers were selected after an open call for applicants back in October 2024 after submitting work experience, qualifications, and their design approach. Three work samples photographs are also submitted. In January, designers are paired with their artwork by choosing a scroll from a basket and then have only two months to dream up a design with their visionary skills.

This year’s event features, Phillip Corps, a British floral designer for television and films such as Bridgerton, Mission Impossible, and The Witcher. Phillips installations in Sculpture Hall and Taylor Hall show off his dramatic talents along with a live floral-designing demonstration on Friday night.
